Asking Questions. Investigating.
Musings from October 18, 2019 (even more relevant today) “The Parthenon (Ancient Greek: Παρθενών; Greek: Παρθενώνας, Parthenónas) is a former temple on the Athenian Acropolis, Greece, dedicated to the goddess Athena.
Situated at The Acropolis of Athens. The Parthenon is part of an ancient citadel located on a rocky outcrop above the city of Athens.” When I first visited the Parthenon, I had just recently graduated from University where I had studied Architecture and Design. I had already been working in the industry and was building out projects in the commercial, restaurant and retail industries. I was in AHH of the details and the mass of the Parthenon. (To be noted: Mind you at that time there were no conspiracies or even @natgeo shows on air. ) I thought to myself, there is absolutely no way this structure was made by human hands over many years. The precision cannot be created by current technology and human installation. I walked away with more questions and wondering why the history was settled as told. I then took in the views and was grateful to have been afforded the opportunity to see a great classic that I had studied in person.
Last year, I crossed paths with a few professors who teach Architecture at the University level. We started talking about my experience. What I found so curious is they both had never traveled there and were teaching future architects. I encouraged them to visit because of what I had felt in that moment. One had an open mind she was willing to let her mind reach beyond what she had been taught and was teaching. The other professor was more resistant because it was conflicting with what he knew to be true.
Ironically, the Parthenon was dedicated to Athena. She is goddess of wisdom, courage, inspiration, civilization, law and justice, strategic warfare, mathematics, strength, strategy, the arts, crafts, and skill. Now, I am pretty certain “she” would want us to discover The Who, what, why, how and when this unexplainable masterpiece was created.
Which leads me to encourage all that are inspired to “create space” and feel into what you think you know or have been taught. If questions rise up within you...take that as a cue to investigate and discover beyond what you know.
For me I am still contemplating what I felt in that moment and at many other architectural masterpieces in locations around the world. My hypothesis simply rests in higher states of being.
When possible…
Never stop asking questions. Never resist seeing and discovering something new in what you “believed” or were “taught” to be true. We are on the threshold of understanding the world in a way that has never been revealed prior to here. .sT
I pray, sit in silence and make sacred offerings daily for all of HUManity.
Currently, it can be overwhelming to comprehend the awakenings and the atrocities that are being revealed to humanity at large. Coupled with disasters that are being orchestrated by the seen, unseen and natural forces. These moments may make you and many feel vulnerable; however, I want all of you to know you can help and that you are not alone.
Each and everyone of you (including myself) can take some “space” in (y)our daily lives to serve in (y)our family and local communities. Then, you will naturally be inspired to serve by extending your generosity, kindness and precious energy out to places you can help in your state, national and global communities. Bit by bit, we can be the catalyst to making change from here to there and there to here. We are literally paving the way into a new frontier. While it can be tempting to grasp at the past, I encourage you all to lean into the present moment and (y)our future.

While this is a disputed topic these days, I would be happy to debate anyone on this topic. When you are ‘well’, your family is ‘well’ and your community is ‘well’. This is a daily effort. What this yields is you will have more space to help those around you. Even if it means, pointing them in the right direction. As inspired, check-in with self and others. Daily question… “How and Where can I serve?”
