Potato Tips and Benefits
Potato is a friend when spiced properly and can be cooling to your system. In addition, it can help reduce inflammation. However, spices are key to assist in reducing any gas and/or weight gain.
Potatoes are astringent and work well on the skin to remove bruising, inflammation, infections. The gastrointestinal tract benefits from the cooling properties. In addition, they are often provide “emotional” comfort from the inside out. A simple way to support your emotional body.
The fiber content can assist you in taking regular bowel movements. Spices to add to assist in digest include: turmeric, cumin and black pepper. A sea salt and lime can be added to the preparation. To be noted, if you are feeling stagnation in your liver it is always best to remove the potato skins before eating.
