We are still in it, spring and fall. The wood continues to rise and ether (substituted for the word ‘metal’ in TCM) is providing. The feminine is rising within all of us and holding us. We are remembering how to receive from and dance between wood and ether. As you create space to listen, you will have the ability to see...move forward in pure neutrality with access to zero point. Preparing each self with the will to take action.
Simply. Listen. Rest in the Void.

Are you ok?
One morning, I woke up and started my daily contribution to the “web”. My daily intent is to help others.
Like SM does it just shows you a reflection of what you want to contribute towards and/or they want you to see.
First, there was a man in sensed that the freeway was shut down the day prior because someone was thinking they needed/wanted to jump off an overpass and end their life. Which lead me to comment, “This is an odd take…are you ok?” He was literally telling everyone to call their local officials. (To be noted most who live out here know what that means when the freeway shuts down. Californians are resourceful in finding ways off and onto side streets, praying and keeping busy in these potentially tragic situations). Fortunately, the first responders saved this person’s life. The next post a young man in his car crying that he was not okay and needed help. He wanted ideas on how eleviate his depression and feel grounded. To him, I offered some immediate suggestions and my time. The juxtaposition of these two media inputs back to back. Definitely made me sad and I even cried.
What struck me even deeper into my heart…is that maybe we all need to check in more with each other on and off line. Coupled with “checking” people on and offline who have lost their humanity. As inspired, a simple question like, ‘are you okay?’ Can serve in many situations.
Then ask…‘Do you need/want a hug and/or a piece of pie?’

I see red...erupting and exploding from mother earth.
Expelling impurities.
Embedded deepin the bedrock of her soul.
I feel red...metamorphosis inside her womb into amber light.
Leading to preservation,
nourishment and trust from within.
I touch red...experiencing the whole in the sea of her reflections.

Mind Food
Do you remember ever sitting outside and watching clouds take many different shapes?
This is one of my favorite pastimes (second to observing the stars). It is the best form of entertainment and communication with something unexplainable.
Last week, this sweet little elephant appeared in the sky in a moment that I was praying and visioning for a miracle. He represents a teaching from India, his name is Ganesha. What he has reflected to me is the power of humility, trust, prayer and our innate ability to remove the perceptions of an obstacle. His wisdom has been such a beautiful reminder and the field is quite interactive within the great outdoors. In that moment, his appearance in the clouds reminded me to stay focused on the outcome that I was praying and visioning. It worked.
I share this as a reminder that each one of you can remove limiting perceptions by observing that they have arrived. Next, redirect your attention, thoughts, words and actions to the outcome you want to be. As inspired, simply start observing when you are doubling down on the obstacle. Then, practice redirecting yourself to apply your prayers and visions to what you want to be. Start here. There is no need to concern yourself with the HOW. Just hold the vision and/or prayer.

The trees are exchanging with all that is, including you. As inspired, take a pause. be with the trees.
Emotional physical and mental health remedy: hang out with the trees daily 15-20 minutes. just be.
What I see…
The trees are literally bathing in sunlight, and the light that pours through their leaves is not just “white.” It’s alive with soft blues, violets, and hints of emerald. Those colors are the signature of chlorophyll at work: the green pigment that turns photons into chemical energy (photosynthesis), while reflecting back the cool blues and greens I see. In that exchange, the trees are pulling carbon dioxide from the air (the same air you just exhaled) and releasing oxygen and subtle volatile organic compounds called phytoncides.
The fun facts:
- Phytoncides lower cortisol and blood pressure within minutes.
- 15–20 minutes under a tree canopy measurably boosts natural killer (NK) immune cells for up to a week.
- The negative ions near trees (especially after rain or sunrise) calm the nervous system.
- The fractal patterns of branches and the soft color gradients you’re seeing, in the photo and in person, activate the parasympathetic “rest-and-digest” response almost instantly.
When you stand there and simply be, the trees are not just “pretty.” They are actively feeding you oxygen, anti-stress chemistry, immune support, and visual medicine. You exhale CO₂ and tension; they exhale life and calm. An ancient, silent, regenerative exchange between all of us and the trees.

A little dot connecting. When your emotions have a huge upheaval coupled with persistent stress/anxiety, low nutrient dense meals and/or substances that diminish your life force, your immune system will be compromised. The key is to be mindful with your emotions and the food you nourish yourself with. This awareness will assist keeping you in well being during the fall/spring. These seasons are historically filled with cold/flu and/or sinus/allergy upheaval. As inspired, nourish yourself proactively with nutrient dense foods and retain your emotional awareness.
If you happen to over indulge in the holiday blues or one too many Yuletide treats, star of anise, is a helpful friend. It is a warming herb that will get things moving and breaks up stagnation. It is anti all the things that can put your left of center (oxidants, microbes, fungus). To test it out, you can simply steep one pod in hot water and sip it gently. See how it feels and your body responds. If it feels good, then sip on a cup or two. Alternatively, you can make a warm cider or a seasonal recipe with star of anise.
