Silence Golden. Visioning Clear.
Soul Food
The dance of water (feminine) and fire (masculine) intensifies: water replenishing, fire clearing impurities, opposites in delicate harmony, drawing us inward to retreat and realign within our solar cycle.
This is a passage, not just “one day.” Honor the transition over several days rather than a fixed date. In Australia, the shift into summer spans ~4 days; here in the North, winter’s arrival unfolds over ~9 days. Awareness of these shifts supports your inner/outer landscape and reclaims your natural rhythm with peace.
We’re spiraling into mastery of self, serving communities with balance and reciprocation, season by season.
May you dance freely with Mother Nature and divine love this winter/summer transition. Observe and see what unfolds.

Heart + Mind Food
As we make our way through the final days of transitioning into winter and summer, it is the perfect time to give yourself a deeper pause.
Turn off all the external noise and rest in your own silence. Find your still point within you and rest in the VOID. The DARKNESS. Rest there, HUMANITY.
Within this space, all things exisit and all things do not exisit. Your full potential rests right there. Similar to when your dropped into your mother’s womb. It was DARK, warm and there was a rhythmic beat from her heart and voice. All of which held you in the most sacred retreat while miracles upon miracles formed each and every sacred inch of your being.
The truth is…they tried to rush you back towards the light, tricking you into believing the darkness and the mother are responsible for your suffering and pain. In conjunction with the idea that ‘the light’ was involved in creating the miracle that you are. Yet, it is the complete opposite. The mother, the void, the darkness are the sacred resting point for all creation.
As inspired, create the space to rest there. Even if you do not know how, start with just imagining what it felt like being in the nothingness before you dropped in.

Get Mov’IN... I have fond memories from when I was a young girl learning formal dance to modern dance. The tradition and practice of getting dressed up and dancing was always something I looked forward to. Similar to many traditions from around the world these dances are the way to communicate, engage with your community and express yourself with your body, heart and music. Moving your physical being is a simple way to nourish all aspects of yourself.
As inspired...Get Mov’IN! During winter and summer this is an ideal time to move your body with the simple daily practice of dance. Adjusting the speed, intensity and mood based on where you are at in this moment. You will increase dopamine, oxytocin, endorphins, endocannabinoids and norepinephrine. Gaba and Serotonin will kick in after you leave the dance floor. All of these happy chemicals well. Coupled with a great way to shift the energy at family and friend gatherings.
Move Your Body! LOW-FREQUENCY AMPLITUDE AND SYNCOPATION INCREASE GROOVE PERCEPTION IN HOUSE MUSIC
“In conclusion, our study shows that higher LFA and syncopation of basslines in house music increase the urge to dance. Furthermore, perceived groove showed significant positive associations with a prefer- ence for energetic and rhythmic music styles, a gen- eral desire to dance, and an emotional connection to music. We conclude that the interplay of highly syn- copated basslines, accompanied by a steady, low- syncopated rhythmic foundation not only maintains but enhances the sensation of groove, especially in people who enjoy dancing to music, thereby high- lighting the close yet often understudied connection between music and dance.” (Read More Here)
“Key Research Findings:
Bio-Rhythms & Hormones: Studies show low frequencies and syncopation in house music enhance groove, leading to more movement. This physical and auditory engagement reduces cortisol (stress hormone) and boosts endorphins/dopamine, factors linked to slower aging.
Aging Markers: A large-scale analysis of brain scans and genetic data found listening to music in the 120-130 BPM range (common in house) correlated with lower cortisol and slower biological aging, potentially by years.
Social & Movement: Consistent dancing and social connection, as seen in nightlife studies, contribute to lower stress markers and improved cardiovascular function, mimicking rhythmic therapy.
How it Relates to Aging
Stress Reduction: By lowering cortisol, house music and dancing combat a key driver of accelerated aging.
Dopamine Release: The “build-up and drop” of house music triggers dopamine, enhancing mood and motivation, which supports well-being.
Physical Engagement: The rhythmic movement acts like light cardio, improving heart health and overall resilience.;
In essence, UCL and related research highlight that the combination of rhythmic, energetic house music and sustained dancing creates a powerful, pleasurable experience that positively influences our biology, potentially slowing down age-related decline by reducing stress and boosting positive neurochemicals.” Sean-Lee Duncan and Guido Orgs Coupled with all the sweating and close relational spaces when rocking to that beat create an echosystem to let it all wind out.
As inspired, rock that body to that house beat.

Above a simple Hungarian cookie recipe, Keksz, (means hard cookie) from my childhood BFF’s grandmother made these when she would visit and mail them to her. It was the prefect cookie. I think this year, I unlocked making the recipe almost like she would make them. 😀
A recipe, the result and a memory are so powerful, they instantly transport you back to a moment suspended in “space”. More than not, this will bring you back to a warm and comforting moment that releases the happy chemicals throughout your entire being.
In addition , this unlocked a happy memory with my children. As we baked together, I shared the cookie lore, a memory unlocked for them too. This cookie was a staple in their childhood during all seasons. All of which inspired me to reach out to my friend with a photo and a chat ensued about the blessing her grandmother was to both of us. The wave of love and smiles transcended decades of our life all through one simple cookie and a joy filled bite.
As inspired, pull out one of those recipes and see what happens. May you savor what unfolds.
*TBN I feel this recipe is not mine to share. For one, the variations of this recipe on the internet suggest this truly was her mastery. I will leave it up to my friend to share if she wishes.

Sage. Is a plant that can assist you in cleansing your energetic body, physical space and return you to a state clear state of being. Consider sage a plant that wants to help you reclaim you.
With the holiday season is well underway. As inspired, make an effort to ‘make lemonade’ daily. Small acts of kindness and sincere generosity. Report below what you have witnessed and participated in. I would love to hear from you.
