As our brothers and sisters in the Southern Hemisphere to hold the FULL YANG, ‘FIRE’ Energy. They are flowing full speed ahead into the season with fluid graceful action. While, the outer world might still appear to be on fire, they reflect to us all, harness your power and maintain your life force. AKA never let your Agni diminish. Their relation with what it means to invoke JOY with their inner and outer humanity. While some nations and practices might frown upon too much JOY. They shout BACK to all of HUMANITY….LET THE JOY IN. Their Hearts and STOMACHS (practice maintaining the perfect amount of JOY in every moment. While, nurturing their heart and passionate action. They are remembering there is a balance between moving with those summer beats and strolling effortlessly along the oceans shore. They are destined to help all of humanity with the perfect dance steps and remembered fearless freedom. Those mid’ summer dreams will cradle all into the earth mother’s heart once more into THE climactic REMEMBERING.
In addition, our brothers and sisters in the Northern Hemisphere are finally aware they are best to find a place to be in repose and listen deeply. While old systems seem to want all to run rapidly, many are syncing up to their natural biorhythms. While FEAR has been a factor, their internal organs are ringing COURAGE is HERE. Their waters are ready to run clear with their fearless kidneys and bladders standing by side. While, simultaneously all are being called to CLEAR, Reconcile and make PEACE with both energies of the MASCULINE and FEMININE. We all are being asked to MERGE into inner union with self and the natural ecosystem around us. THE Space around is alchemically creating the merging from within into the scared inner UNION WATER and Fire DANCE. Repose and Action. Harmony. Balance. Interdependence. NO MORE GRASPING.

Patience...
Verse Twenty-Seven: Perfecting Patience
“For all Bodhisattvas with minds set on merit
Who wish to amass a great store of good deeds,
Encounters with those causing harm and destruction
Which test their commitment are the mines of great wealth.
For this very reason, abandon resentment
And anger directed toward those who do harm;
Perfect meditation on patient endurance-
The Bodhisattvas all practice this way.”
You may or may not be familiar with the term of “bodhisattvas”. Simply put it is a path towards awakening into Buddhahood for the benefit of all beings everywhere. It is a very personal journey and a practice. Which requires patience, space, compassion, attention, discipline, focus and great humility. This is because one has to work out the multitude of “karmic knots” that one has created over many lifetimes. Eventually, one will understand the deeper wisdom that exists within self. Which can even seem like an arduous task. Yet, it is a beautiful journey that keeps revealing itself to those who embark on it. Sometimes, it can feel like riding a bike with training wheels. You think you got it and then you take the training wheels off and fall over. It is when you fall that you can see the deeper truth of what is. In addition, you see the next step on your path of evolution and the opportunity to accumulate efforts for the benefit of all. At the same moment, you realize where you have work to do and are invited to examine ‘the reveal’ closer in reflective repose. More than not, it is about listening versus doing. When we listen deeply, we can see deeper into what is.
I share this passage as a seed of inspiration for the present moment and the words below from a late beloved teacher. His wisdom and writings continue to bring me deeper into my practice and assist me in untying those karmic knots that were so well hidden that sometimes they explode in front of me. The eruption commands my attention. As anyone can see from scrolling through public forums we all have been participating publicly and/or privately in a lot of erupting, division and even “h a t e r e d”. These moments show the individual pontificating from their comfort of their phone and sofa or in someone’s face where one is vulnerable, confused and ready to transform. It takes courage to take the mirror you might be projecting out into the world (via your thoughts, words and/or actions) and turn it around to face self. Examining why you harm someone (especially when you might not know them personally) with your thoughts, words and/or actions is a humbling process. Furthermore, if you know the individual there is even greater opportunity to liberate self and reconcile karma between the two individuals.
So if inspired, take a few minutes more and read part of the discourse on the purpose and opportunity behind perfecting patience within self and the world around you.
“Cultivating patience, instead of hatred, for those who harm us in the twenty-seventh bodhisattva practice. You have already heard a lot about patience, but here patience is compared to a treasure. A person who finds a treasure, should be extremely happy because of the instant wealth. Whenever those who long for the riches of virtue meet someone inflicting harm, it is like finding a great treasure because it provides the opportunity to practice patience. It becomes a source of great joy for that person. Thus, we can give up hatred and instead generate thoughts of patience toward all sentient beings. Lama Tsongkhapa says that generosity is like the wish-granting gem which fulfills the wishes of all others; whereas he analogizes morality to cooling water that dissipates the heat of negative mental states. The wish-fulfilling gem is generosity, the cooling effect on the heat of negative mental states is morality and the perfect ornament is patience.
Patience is the most perfect ornament for those who are strong....If we understand the devastating effect of hatred or anger, then we will have no problem contemplating patience.
Of course, the biggest effect of anger is that it leads us to the hell realms. Also, all the virtue that we have gained and that is not dedicated toward enlightenment is destroyed by a single moment of anger....Anger starts many of those conflicts and eventually leads to disunity among people. If we meditate on the demerits of anger, we will have not problem cultivating patience.
Patience does not just mean to be able to tolerate provocation without anger. Patience is far more than that. For instance, if we go through immense hardship in the process of our practice, tolerating that hardship is also a form of patience....
We can endure these hardships by saying, “No matter what happens or how hard it might prove to be, I cannot compromise this practice. I must do it to the best of my capability, to fulfill the responsibility I have assumed for others. I cannot compromise.” With that kind of attitude, we can try to tackle the difficult moments every single day and make our dharma practice a top priority. The positive result of tolerating such hardship is great.” GeShe Tsultim Gyeltsen
